While you are shopping at the mall, you can also adopt a child or senior who may not otherwise have anything to open this Christmas.
The Salvation Army kicked off its Angel Tree program Saturday. There are about 10,000 seniors and children to choose from at Promenade and Woodland Hills malls.
It's easy. You just take a tag, buy a gift and return it to the tree.
"We could not do it without the support of the public," said Major Kathy Williams with the Salvation Army. "The Salvation Army is so grateful for the generosity."
The Angel Tree program, sponsored by The News On 6 and K95.5 FM, is at both Woodland Hills Mall and Promenade Mall.
