Zane Atchison Ordered To Stand Trial In The August 2011 Double Homicide

One of two men accused of shooting and killing two people near the QuikTrip at 71st and Riverside in late August 2011 has been ordered to stand trial on murder charges.

One of two men accused of shooting and killing two people near the QuikTrip at 71st and Riverside in late August 2011 has been ordered to stand trial on murder charges.

Zane Atchison, 24, is charged with two counts of 1st degree murder for the shooting deaths of 27-year-old Patrick Shawn and 24-year-old Kaylyn Kosofsky.

A second suspect in connection with the deadly shootings, 27-year-old Joel Pina is also charged but is not yet in custody.

Atchison's preliminary hearing was continued from November 16, 2011.   On Tuesday, a Tulsa County District Court judge ordered Atchison to stand trial.

Tulsa Police say the victims knew Atchison, and all three were involved in the narcotics world.
