TULSA, Oklahoma -
The city of Tulsa has shut down one lane in each direction of Riverside Drive at 31st Street due to a sinkhole in the roadway.
The lanes were shut down late Tuesday afternoon and remain closed Wednesday morning.
City officials say the reason is a leaking sanitary sewer under Riverside Drive. They say it could take up to three weeks to complete repairs.
Drivers are urged to avoid Riverside Drive because the repair work will cause traffic delays.
