TULSA, Oklahoma -

Tulsa Police have identified everyone involved in a shooting on the plaza on the north side of the Tulsa County courthouse Wednesday afternoon. The suspected gunman remains in critical condition.

Police say they've learned a lot in the 24 hours since the shooting. A few things changed from what they originally thought, but one question still hasn't been answered.

Tulsa Police say they're in a position that rarely happens in a shooting investigation - evidence overload.

"This is an unusual occurrence because there is a lot of outside video, outside cameras and a lot of people witnessed this," said Tulsa Police Sgt. Dave Walker.

Sgt. Walker says they now think 23-year-old Andrew Dennehy probably fired some shots in the air by his car that got people scrambling, then walked across the street to the plaza and continued until he was shot down.

"Makes it look like he wasn't in his right mind. There wasn't any intent to storm the courthouse," Walker said.

Police have also revealed that the deputies who fired their weapons are Stephen Cully and Dennis Miller. The deputy who was shot in the hand is 25-year-old David Fortenberry. Police aren't sure yet if he also shot his gun.

The bystander who was shot is 28-year-old Ricardo Manuel. Officers first said Manuel was outside when he was shot and ran into the library for shelter. They've since changed their theory.

Police say Ricardo Manuel was in the library when he heard the gunshots and ran toward the exit. That's when a bullet came through the window and hit him in the leg.

Investigators are still looking into whether that bullet came from Dennehy's gun.

"I don't think he's the one who shot him. I think it was an errant shot, which at thirty or thirty five yards under stress, you can expect that to happen," Walker said.

Dennehy has a firearm conviction, as well as DUI, drug and public intoxication convictions. Police still can't answer the one question about Wednesday's shooting - why did Dennehy fire his gun?
