Woman Found Dead In Car In LeFlore County

FORT SMITH, Arkansas -- Authorities in southeastern Oklahoma are investigating the discovery of a body in a vehicle near the Arkansas state line.

LeFlore County Sheriff Bruce Curnutt says a driver spotted a car parked along a roadway between Spiro and Pocola with a dead woman inside about 3:35 a.m. Monday.

Curnutt says woman was identified as 20-year-old Kaloni Flynn. Family members told KFSM that she was about 12-weeks pregnant.

Police have not released any other details regarding the death, but family members told KFSM that Flynn was found with a gunshot wound.Flynn's body has been sent to the state Medical Examiner's Office in Tulsa for an autopsy.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has been asked to help with the investigation
