ELMHURST, Illinois - Oral Roberts baseball player Kurt Giller has been named the Summit League Pitcher of Week .

The honor is the first such career award for Giller who is a junior from Manhattan, Kansas.

Last week Giller tossed a complete shutout over Southern Utah.

In nine innings on the mound he gave up just three hits while tallying six strikeouts and holding a no-hitter into the seventh inning. The Golden Eagles went on to win 6-0.

Also honored by the conference this week are Oakland's Tim Ryan who was named the Player of the week while Justin Neubauer was the other co-pitcher of the week.

The Golden Eagles take the field again on Tuesday hosting the Oklahoma Sooners at 6:30 p.m.
