LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas -

The Tulsa offense was unable to find its rhythm until late in the game, thanks to the pitching of AJ Schugel, falling to the Arkansas Travelers 7-4 for the second time in three days.

Tulsa scored the first run of the game, thanks to a leadoff home run from Ben Paulsen in the top of the second. Kiel Roling grounded into a force out in the top of the fourth, but still were unable to take the lead.

A.J. Schugel (1-3) came away with a win for the outing, giving up just one earned run on four hits and striking out six in his seven innings of service. Edwar Cabrera (3-2) lasted just 4.2 innings, giving up six earned runs on nine hits.

Arkansas Scored its first two runs thanks to RBI singles by Renny Osuna and Roberto Lopez in the bottom of the third, taking a 3-1 advantage. Leading 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth, Carlos Ramierz belted a two-run double to center fielder to take a four-run lead.

Tulsa will try to avoid back-to-back losses at 7:10 p.m. Friday in the series finale against the Travelers.
