A 54-year-old Broken Arrow man was arrested by Van Buren Police Tuesday evening after police say he showed up in their community hoping to have sex with a 15-year-old girl.

Investigators say Glen Springer had arranged the meeting in an online chat room while speaking with who he thought was a teenage girl, but actually was a police officer.

When Springer arrived at the meeting location, Van Buren Police arrested him for Internet stalking of a child.

He was booked into the Crawford County jail on the stalking complaint and held on a $7,500 bond.
