Tulsa Water, Sewage Rates To Raise In October

TULSA, Oklahoma -

The Tulsa City Council voted on Thursday night to raise water and sewage rates.

The price hikes take effect Oct. 1.

Water rates will go up 7 percent for everyone in Tulsa and the suburbs tied into Tulsa's water-system line -- Bixby, Jenks, Owasso, Catoosa and Glenpool.

Sewage rates are going up by 9 percent.
