The worker's name has not yet been released.

Dana Birkes, Vice President at Flintco, sent News 9 the following statement,

"Flintco is the Construction Manager for the Sooner Center Housing project. We are still in the midst of the investigation that will provide the details of what occurred. We are working with OSHA and conducting our own investigation. What we do know is that at approximately 9:15 a.m. this morning at the Sooner Center Housing project, an employee of Universal Roofing & Sheet Metal was roofing four stories up and fell. People working on site witnessed the event, immediately administered first aid and called 911. He was medi-flighted to an area hospital. Flintco's safety policy mandates workers at this height be harnessed and tied off. When we have the details of what exactly occurred we will let you know."
