Tulsa got a new fleet of firefighters Friday.
Twenty-three cadets graduated from the Tulsa Fire Academy.
Now they're official firefighters, sworn in and ready to serve.
Brett Roberts was one of the cadets to graduate Friday.
"All the skills we've learned, all the five months we've spent, day in and day out, training—we finally get to put it to use, and I couldn't be more excited," Roberts said.
In addition to that 5 months of training, cadets had to pass multiple written, oral, and physical tests.
Even then, only some of them are selected for graduation.
