Checotah Teacher Waives Preliminary Hearing On Sex Charges

EUFAULA, Oklahoma -

A former Checotah elementary teacher accused of having a sexual relationship with three teenage boys in 2010 and 2011 waived her preliminary hearing in McIntosh County District Court Tuesday.

Michelle McCutchan, 40, is charged with 8 counts of 2nd degree rape, 11 counts of sodomy, 7 counts of furnishing alcohol to a person under 21, 1 count of possession of child pornography and 1 count of child neglect.

She remains free on bond.

McCutchan's next court hearing is August 1, 2012 where she is scheduled to enter a formal plea to the charges.
