A Broken Arrow youth fundraiser got a big boost thanks to Rhema Bible Church.
Rhema donated $5,000 to the fund for Broken Arrow Church of the Nazarene's youth mission trip next summer.
The program was in jeopardy after the city of Tulsa shut down the church's fireworks stand, because the city said it violated an ordinance against selling fireworks in city limits.
The fireworks stand was their big annual fundraiser.
"We're all the body of Christ," said Eric Macomber, Pastor of the Broken Arrow Church of the Nazarene. "When one part of the body hurts, they all hurt. And hopefully this is something other churches can pick up on."
The pastor said the stand typically raises between $10,000 and $12,000.
