An 18-year-old driver lost control of his car and crashed into a railroad crossing near 36th and South Sheridan early Monday.
Police say the driver was replying to a text message around 3:30 a.m. when he lost control of his Chevy Cruze and crashed into the arms of the railroad crossing.
EMSA checked out the driver. He is expected to be okay.
