The city of Tulsa is taking steps to make sure city employees will get their pensions.

Thursday, Mayor Dewey Bartlett announced a new pension review committee.

The committee will work to avoid a big tax hike or budget cuts to pay for pension benefits and liabilities.

They'll make recommendations by the end of the year.
