Tulsa Public Schools has a new assistant athletics director of activities. Elizabeth Hebert was named to that position on Friday.

Hebert was a counselor and co-athletic director at Central High School for the last four years. She was head coach of tennis, volleyball and swimming programs during that time.

"We are pleased to have Elizabeth Hebert join our administrative team," said Gil Cloud, TPS athletic director.

"She has good experience at the school level and will be involved with not only athletics but serve as the liaison to our physical education program district wide."

Hebert has Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree from Oral Robert's University.

Cloud was named AD in May of this year. He replaced AD Stephanie Spring who resigned in the midst of a police investigation into hacked e-mail and possible embezzlement.
