SHAWNEE, Oklahoma -

Shawnee police are confirming foul play in the disappearance of Samatha Weaver.

Samantha Weaver has been missing since June 15, and police have heard a lot of rumors, but can't make an arrest.

Authorities have a person of interest and have even searched for Weaver's body.

"I still don't want to think that I don't want to think she is gone," said Weaver's sister, Cristy Busch.

Police confirm they've searched several properties and interviewed dozens of witnesses, the person of interest in the case is the same man, Weaver was last seen with.

"He thinks he is smarter than police, and so far it's working, you know," said Weaver's father, Lloyd Weaver.

The last communication from Weaver was a panicked text message to the father of her two children she said was on her way to pick them up, but never showed up.

If you have any information on Samantha's whereabouts, call Shawnee police at (405)-878-1630.
