High School football season kicks off across the state Friday night, and one of the fiercest rivalries you'll find in all of high school sports starts anew.

Number three-ranked Jenks held a pep rally Thursday for the big game against first-ranked Union, and the Redskins held a rally of their own Friday.

For over a decade, it's been either Union or Jenks hosting the 6-A state championship trophy at the end of the season.
