McINTOSH COUNTY, Oklahoma -

A Sperry woman is in a Tulsa hospital after her car crashed on the Indian Nation Turnpike in McIntosh County Saturday morning.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a car driven by Jennie Hightower, 52, was south on the turnpike when her car ran off the left side of the road into the center median, re-entered the roadway and then ran off the right shoulder causing the car to roll twice.

Troopers say Hightower was flown by medical helicopter to Tulsa where she is listed in critical condition.

Cause of the crash remains under investigation.
