OSBI, Hugo Police Conducting Homicide Investigation After Discovery Of Body

HUGO, Oklahoma -

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and the Hugo Police Department are investigating a homicide after a body was discovered, Sunday morning.

Police say they found 41-year-old Tony Laray Jones' body near south Broadway and Lowery.  They say the victim's body showed obvious signs of trauma to indicate that he was murdered.

The state Medical Examiner's Office will perform an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

OSBI spent all day Sunday collecting evidence and conducting interviews with local residents.
