TULSA, Oklahoma -

Tulsa's City Council Wednesday night invited power players to decide how the city's chunk of the proposed Vision2 money should be spent.

Vision2 goes before voters in November.

If passed, the tax extension would fund projects in every community in Tulsa County.

Opponents of Vision2 say the tax plan is being pushed through too quickly, but supporters say manufacturing jobs could be lost if the county drags its heels.

"They can't wait another four years to make their decisions on how, where they should be located. They're making decisions now. We have to make our decision now as voters," said Arvest Bank President Don Walker.

Along with community projects, Vision2 would fund improvements to outdated, city-owned buildings at the airport, currently leased by major employers like Spirit Aerosystems and American Airlines.
