GRADY COUNTY, Oklahoma -

A man from Bradley, Oklahoma, was killed after his motorcycle crashed into a deer on a county road in Grady County Saturday night.

It happened at 6:46 p.m. Saturday, on County Road 1520, about half mile west of County Street 2970 in Grady County.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a 1999 Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by 52-year-old Mark Alan Gosnell was eastbound on County Road 1520, when it struck a deer in the roadway and overturned.

Gosnell was then thrown off the motorcycle. He was not wearing a helmet. Troopers say he was pronounced dead at the scene from massive injuries.

Troopers listed Gosnell's condition as "apparently normal" in the OHP collision report. The cause of the collision was listed as "deer in roadway."
