American Airlines announced repairs to 49 more planes to keep seats from coming loose in flight Friday.
The same problem grounded 48 planes last week.
Workers will add a back-up locking device to seats in most of its Boeing 767 planes, which are used on international routes.
A spokeswoman says the fix is a precaution, and no seats on the 767 model have come loose.
Seats on three Boeing 757 flights came loose earlier this month.
We're told the repairs will be finished by October 21, and the work will be done overnight, so no flights will be canceled.
