TULSA, Oklahoma -

The line of severe thunderstorms hit eastern Oklahoma later Saturday afternoon and evening, and the National Weather Service even issued a tornado watch for many counties.

The skies opened up, and the rain fell, overloading Tulsa streets. High winds and some lightning also marked the front which left its biggest impact on southeastern Oklahoma where winds of 75 mph were measured.

Crews are searching for a teen who was playing in one of the swollen creek beds in north Tulsa and was swept away.

Drivers reported being stranded along U.S. Highway 412 west of Tulsa, and downtown Tulsa experienced standing water during the hard rain Saturday night.

The threat of severe weather ended around midnight in southeast Oklahoma with improving weather conditions for Sunday.
