The eastbound lane of I-244 was closed Monday, after a semi truck flipped over on the highway.

Oklahoma Department of Transportation said the road was closed at about 3:45 p.m. and re-opened two hours later.

The semi truck overturned in the eastbound lane of I-244, near the I-44 split.

Traffic was detoured onto I-44, as crews cleared the accident.

Elsewhere on I-244 the highway was closed after a semi truck damaged the bridge over West 3rd Street. That portion of the highway will remain closed through Tuesday.
