Silver Alert Canceled For Armed Billings Man Suffering Dementia

BILLINGS, Oklahoma -

The Silver Alert issued Thursday out of Billings has been canceled.

Authorities located the elderly man who left home armed with two guns, and say he is okay.

Police issued the alert for Bruce Matteson, 74, who left his home around 1 a.m. Thursday.

They said Matteson has slight dementia. He left his home in Billings with a handgun, a rifle, and his dog, after a fight with his wife.

Police said Matteson told his wife he would, "hurt her to the core."
