SAPULPA, Oklahoma -

A Green Country officer is recovering from a concussion and an injured hand after a high speed chase Wednesday afternoon.

The chase ended on a dead-end road in Sapulpa.

Officer Robert Bartleson told News On 6 he had gotten out of his squad car to draw his weapon, but tried to get back inside as the suspect tried to ram him.

He was crushed in the door of his vehicle.

The suspect was arrested about a block away.
