The OSBI said Wednesday it is renewing the reward offer of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the men who shot an elderly Wagoner man and stole his weapons last Thanksgiving.

On the morning of November 24, 2011, Kenneth Payne, 74, was at the Fort Gibson Wildlife Management Area Shooting Range, sighting in several of his guns, when someone shot him multiple times and left him for dead.

The Wagoner County Sheriff's Office requested OSBI assistance with the attempted murder investigation.

Investigators said at least four guns were stolen and the agency released a photo of one of the more rare guns, hoping someone will recognize it. It is a Mitchell Black Lightning .22 magnum rifle.

The OSBI has also released sketches of the two men they suspect in the shooting.

One sketch is possibly a Hispanic male in his late 50s, with a light complexion. Investigators say that suspect is about 5-foot-9 and 160-165 pounds.

The other suspect, investigators say, has dark curly hair that is collar-length in the back. He is also described as about 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds. They say that suspect is in his mid-to-late 30s.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call either the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office or the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017.
