Silver Alert Canceled For Missing Perry Man

PERRY, Oklahoma -

Police in Perry have canceled a Silver Alert for an elderly man who walked away from a Noble County hospital, Sunday afternoon.

Francis Gene Ritter, 77, was last seen around 1:30 p.m. walking north from 14th and Elm wearing a blue plaid shirt and blue jeans.

According to police, Ritter suffers from Alzheimer's and dementia and is under proven medical or physical disability. 

Police say Ritter was located and returned to the hospital later Sunday evening.
