An Oklahoma appeals court has upheld the life prison sentence of a 25-year-old man convicted of first-degree murder in Bartlesville.
The Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals affirmed the conviction and sentence Friday in the case of Kyle Travis Eulitt.

Eulitt was convicted of the New Year's Eve 2010 shooting death of Ronald Joseph Watts by a Washington County jury that recommended Eulitt be sentenced to life in prison.
Eulitt claimed he shot Watts after Watts pulled a gun -- but prosecutors say no second gun was found at the scene.
In affirming Eulitt's conviction and sentence, the five-judge appeals court rejected his claims that the 12-member jury did not receive proper legal instructions.
An after-hours call to his attorney, Jamie Pybas, was not immediately returned.
