Thanks to Christmas kindness of Green Country residents, the holiday season will be much brighter for hundreds of children and adults.

More than 2,500 angels have been adopted from the Salvation Army Angel Trees at Promenade and Woodland Hills Malls.

But gifts for about 1,000 of the angels have yet to be returned so they be distributed.
