RSU Hillcat Men Drop One Spot In NAIA Poll

KANSAS CITY, Missouri -

The Rogers State men's basketball team dropped one spot to No. 20 in the NAIA Division I Men's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll.

RSU went 1-1 last week topping Oklahoma Baptist 67-57 Thursday evening. The Bison moved from No. 4 down one spot to No. 5 in the poll released Tuesday.

An 81-80 RSU loss to John Brown decided at the buzzer and moved the Golden Eagles from No. 25 in the poll to No. 10, the largest movement of any team in the poll.

USAO sits at No. 23 in the coaches' poll falling from the ninth-ranked spot after losses to John Brown and Oklahoma Baptist.

Oklahoma City dropped out of the top 25 poll after being ranked No. 22 in last week's poll; the Stars received 18 votes this week.

This marks 21-straight mentions in the Top 25 poll for the Hillcats.

Rogers State (13-5, 1-3) travels to face the Oklahoma City Stars on Thursday from Abe Lemons Arena. Tip-time is set for 8 p.m.
