Police Shed Light On December Death Of Tahlequah Man

TAHLEQUAH, Oklahoma -

Police released details Wednesday of a December 18, 2012 homicide in Tahlequah.

It started as a fight between two men outside a bar.

Police say Randy Crowe was found that morning, bleeding in an alleyway, after a tip from an anonymous caller.

Witnesses told police Randy Crowe tried to attack Kevin Lowe, was giving him a ride home after the bars closed.

Police say Crowe tried to assault Lowe, who ducked, and then hit Crowe once in the face. Witnesses say Crowe fell backward and hit his head on the asphalt.

He was transported by helicopter to a Tulsa hospital, where he later died.

Lowe has not been charged in the case.
