Montgomery County Authorities Seek Robbery Suspect's Recapture

Montgomery County authorities want to recapture a man they arrested on January 9th in connection with an armed robbery in Independence, Kansas.

Adam Anderson, 32, of Independence was arrested following that robbery and taken to a Wichita hospital for treatment of several gunshot wounds.

It's not clear if Anderson walked out of Via Christi St. Francis Hospital or was released by the hospital.

Anderson is a black male, 6-foot tall and 175 pounds. He is charged with aggravated robbery and battery in connection with the attempted robbery of Uncle Ken's Coin and Jewelry store.

Anyone with information on Anderson is asked to call the Montgomery County Attorney's Office at 620-330-1020.
