TULSA, Oklahoma - The Bassmaster Classic doesn't just take place on the water. There are many activities in the Tulsa area taking place this weekend, and best of all - they're free.

The Outdoors Expo is held at the Tulsa Convention Center, 100 Civic Center. Hours are from noon to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. The convention center will be filled to the brim with retailers offering the latest products for the outdoorsman and woman.

It's billed as the industry's largest vendor showcase with more than 150,000 square feet of fishing boats, rods and reels, tackle, and other gadgets.

Events are planned each day, with performances by the Super Dock Dogs, autograph sessions, product demonstrations and competitions. Be sure to sign up for giveaways and special packages.

Take your questions to the experts at the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation booth. Bring canned goods for the food bank and help families of veterans at the Folds of Honor exhibit.

Weigh-ins will be held at the BOK Center arena each day. Fifty-three anglers will ride in on their boats and step on stage with their biggest catch. Again, there is no charge for the event.

A shuttle service will run every day taking fans from the events to parking and other entertainment.

Don't miss the Bass Bash Festival on Third Street between Frisco and Denver connecting the Tulsa Convention Center and the BOK Center. Live music, beverages, food trucks and more all under a heated tent. All ages are invited, and there is no cost to hang out.
