Tulsa Police have canceled a missing person's alert for a homeless woman they had considered endangered.

"Detectives were notified that Tawny Sheppard contacted her family and said she was OK," Public Information Officer Leland Ashley said Sunday morning.

Police issued the missing person's bulletin for the 21-year-old woman on February 28, 2013.
