Tulsa Driver Arrested Following Crash At Hudson And Broken Arrow Expressway

The 29-year-old driver of a BMW sedan is in the Tulsa County jail after a crash at Hudson and the Broken Arrow Expressway early Tuesday.

Police say Angela Samuels was northbound on Hudson when her car left the road, went up an incline and into a small grove of trees next to the expressway.

Tulsa Police say Samuels told officers she had been drinking at a friend's house. She was given a field sobriety test and booked into jail on a complaint of driving under the influence. Jail records also showed Samuel's driver's license had been revoked.

Officers say if it hadn't been for the trees, the car could have ended up in the eastbound lanes of the Broken Arrow Expressway.

EMSA paramedics checked out Samuels before police took her to jail.
