Fire destroyed a popular bar and grill in Coweta overnight.

The owners of the Wagon Wheel got a call from their alarm company just after 2 a.m. When they checked the feed from a surveillance camera inside the building they saw smoke and called the Coweta Fire Department.

By the time firefighters arrived the building was engulfed in flames.

The Wagon Wheel was located on Highway 51. It was built in the 1950s and was originally a market.

There is no word on what started the fire.

Since it was closed, no one was inside and no one was injured.
