Two Men Bound Over For Trial In South Tulsa Triple Shooting

Two Tulsa men were bound over for trial in a shooting that left two people wounded and a woman dead.

Two Tulsa men were bound over for trial in a burglary and triple shooting that killed one woman and left two other people wounded.

Ronnie Barnett Jones and Everett Monte Wilson were both charged with first degree murder, but on Tuesday, the court dismissed the murder charge against Wilson and added a count of acting in concert - shooting with intent to kill.

Jones, also known as "Ronnie Roach" was bound over on felony murder, three counts of shooting with intent to kill, robbery and burglary.

Wilson is also charged with burglary and robbery.

Police say the two men entered an apartment near 63rd and Peoria Avenue on September 10, 2012. The men were wearing masks when they confronted two of the shooting victims inside the apartment.

One of the victims went outdoors, and the shooter follow and shot her. The woman who died, 25-year-old Shametra Fields, was walking down the street nearby when she was shot.

The next court date for the men has been set for 1 p.m. April 8.
