A Broken Bow woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident on US Highway 70 in McCurtain County, Saturday afternoon.
The accident happened about a half a mile south of the city of Broken Bow just before 2 p.m.
According to a report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 42-year-old Lenore Davis was travelling northbound on US70 in a 1994 Toyota, when the vehicle departed the roadway to the right for an unknown reason.
The vehicle struck a guardrail and rolled one-half times, stopping on its side. Davis was ejected from and pinned beneath the vehicle. She was freed by the Broken Bow fire department and Steel's wrecker service.
Davis was pronounced dead at the scene. She was not wearing a seatbelt. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
