Free HIV, Hepatitis Screening Continues For Patients Of Tulsa Dentist

More than 1,700 hundred patients of Tulsa dentist Dr. Scott Harrington have been screened for HIV and hepatitis B and C, the health department says.

The Oklahoma Board of Dentistry said as many as 7,000 patients may have been exposed because of unsafe and unsanitary practices at Harrington's Tulsa and Owasso offices.

With nearly 5,000 people still needing to be tested, the Tulsa health department has added an extra day of free testing on Saturday.

It will be from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., at Tulsa Health Department's North Regional Health and Wellness Center located at 5635 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
