Tulsa Man, 62, Arrested In Shooting Death

Police say one man is dead and another person is in custody after a shooting Friday night. Perry Don Hill, 62, has been booked into Tulsa County Jail on a complaint of first-degree murder.

Police responded to a home at North Hartford Place and East 56th Street North around 10 p.m. Friday.

Sergeant August Terbrock of the Tulsa Police Department said it started as an argument outside a home.  Henry Rodgers, 51, was found lying dead in the street in front of the home, with a gunshot wound to the torso, according to police.

Hill was at the scene and told officers he shot Rodgers, according to an arrest report. He also directed police to a handgun in the front yard.

Terbrock said there was no reason to believe anyone else was in danger. Hill was also booked on three outstanding traffic warrants.
