OKLAHOMA CITY -

Ice cubes fell from the sky. Many of us witnessed a lot of that Friday night. Powerful storms swept across our state, and hail pounded parts of the metro.

Now folks are facing repair costs. All that hail damage is keeping repair shops busy this week.

Darian Faulkner and other employees at Dent Source in Oklahoma City have been flooded with business since they opened their doors Saturday morning.

"Let's just say, ‘chaotic.' Chaotic would be the best way to sum it up," said Faulkner. "I had a lady in here Saturday who had a brand new vehicle, and she had $11,000 worth of damage. I think the highest ticket we've written thus far is $13,000 worth of damage."

They wrote more than 120 estimates on Saturday. By noon Monday, they'd written another 60.

Bree Messinger was driving through the storm when it hit near Hefner and May. Hail dented her roof and hood. Homeowners across the metro also got damage.

Folks in Anadarko seemed to get the worst of it, left with shattered windows and downed power lines.

Strong winds even ripped the roof right off this home. Back in the metro, you can see the storm's aftermath on every one of these cars, as drivers wait in line to get theirs repaired.

"I'm getting an estimate. I don't want to go through insurance because that's always a pain, but hopefully it'll go over real smooth and I'll get my car back," Messinger said.

News 9 talked with several auto repair shops on Monday. Once you call your insurance company and take your car in, most places are saying they can get the repairs done in about 2 days.

If you aren't sure where to get your fixed, check with the Better Business Bureau.
