TAHLEQUAH, Oklahoma -

Tahlequah Police and state wildlife officials removed a baby black bear from a tree near the campus of Northeastern State University Wednesday afternoon.

NSU posted video of the rescue on Facebook. The baby bear was shot with a tranquilizer dart and police and wildlife officials stood by with a large net to catch the bear as it fell out of the tree.

They kept students and other sightseers away from the area, as they worked.
