Another bomb threat called into a metro school, frustrated students Wednesday morning, but Oklahoma County Sheriff's Deputies were able to track the guy down with a simple piece of technology.

An official with Francis Tuttle Technology Center's Rockwell campus confirmed to News 9 that the person who took the phone call wrote down the suspect's number from the school's caller I.D. system.

Students on campus Wednesday morning said they were annoyed about the whole situation. More than 2,000 people had to be evacuated. Several high school students taking an AP Exam posted about the bomb scare hoax on social media. Their scores apparently had to be voided because of the bomb scare.

But the hoax impacted more than just high school students.

"For people who pay out of pocket for classes like this, it's very disruptive because it's taking our time to learn for something that we're paying for," explained Jessica Becker, who is enrolled in a home health class.

"To be honest, this is probably the worst idea you've ever had because I guess a lot of people didn't get their work done and if we don't get our work done at a certain time, we go on contract and we get thrown out of school," said another student, Joshua Scott. "I Think it was kind of stupid to be honest."

Sheriff's deputies tracked down 19-year-old Deyonta Horton, who apparently admitted to calling the bomb threat in. Horton was booked into county jail on a felony complaint of using a communication device to make a bomb threat.
