With spring in full swing, Green Country is keeping busy with festival season. On Saturday, three of the area's biggest events brought together Oklahomans, food and fun.

Barbecue Cook-Off: Hasty Bake has been building its iconic charcoal grill for 65 years right here in Tulsa.

And what better way to celebrate than by using those grills in a cooking competition.

Thirty teams showed off their smoking and grilling skills for the title of grand champion of the fourth annual Hasty Bake Barbecue Contest.

They competed for the chance to take home a brand-new Hasty Bake gourmet grill.

Trail Days: Over in Owasso,Trail Days is getting underway.

The annual festival kicked off Thursday and goes through the weekend.

And the town really is grateful for the event year after year.

"How about a big Owasso thank you for bringing the carnival to town every year, and we hope Owasso keeps up the tradition,” Wayne Baker said.

On Saturday night there's the Expo Show, plus a cute pets contest that News On 6’s Craig Day will judge. There's also a carnival through Sunday.

The all-day event brought in riders from across the region to benefit "Cancer Sucks."
