OKLAHOMA CITY -

A short conversation outside a Thunder game led to some new, stylish footwear for Oklahoma City police officers working security at the games.

News 9 anchor Kelly Ogle was wearing his blue and orange Thunder shoes outside a game a couple of weeks ago when a police officer admired his shoes. When Kelly told the officer he needed a pair, too, the officer replied, "Tell my boss."

So that's just what Kelly did.

Kelly spoke to Oklahoma City Police Chief Bill Citty. After getting the chief's permission, Kelly helped provide the same blue and orange Thunder shoes for several officers working security at the games.
