Gov. Mary Fallin was the first one President Obama greeted as he stepped off Air Force one and was by his side during much of the damage tour.
News 9's Alex Cameron caught up with the Governor after the President left Oklahoma. She says she's thankful for the time he spent not only seeing the damage for himself, but also talking directly with victims.
"Well we met with some family members earlier that were having some issues and they told the president here's some issues. We're having a hard time getting through with our homes getting rebuilt and getting some assistance from FEMA and having the ability to talk directly to the president," said Fallin.
"And he called his FEMA director over and said we need to get somebody to help these people right now and that's another reason it's important to have top officials from Washington D.C. here."
Alex also asked the governor about how this disaster has changed her at times, contentious, relationship with the president.
