EDMOND, Oklahoma -

Two suspects are in custody after a young girl called in an attempted burglary at an Edmond home, Wednesday night.

Police say a 15-year-old girl was home alone when the burglary took place. The girl managed to hide and called 911 to report that someone had broken into her home on Craig Blvd., just north of Danforth Rd. and Kelly Ave.

When officers arrived the suspect fled the scene on foot. Police set up a perimeter and brought in K9 units to help track down the burglar.

Officers say they now have the suspect in custody and that no one was injured during the burglary and search. The identity of the suspect has not been released at this time.
