Posted: Updated:

A Broken Arrow man and woman riding a motorcycle died in head-on crash near Coweta on Sunday.

The deadly collision happened on 353rd East Avenue, just north of Highway 51 about noon.

Troopers say the Timothy Gordineer, 47, was driving a sport utility vehicle when he went off the road and overcorrected into oncoming traffic.

The SUV hit a motorcycle head-on. The two people riding the motorcycle -- Kenneth Gray, 64, and Jacquelyn Waid, 52 -- died at the scene.

A 7-year-old girl who was riding in the SUV was taken to a Tulsa hospital by medical helicopter and is in critical condition, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol's report.

Gordineer was treated and released with a minor leg injury.

The crash is still under investigation.
